Objectives The study deals with running, which has become a big trend in recent years. Running is popular regardless of time and place, regardless of age or gender, but it can cause minute damage to the hip, knees, and ankles due to wrong exercise habits. Due to the advantage of being able to run at any time without the proper learning process, there are many cases of running in sneakers, and this increases the possibility of muscle pain and ligament damage due to the wrong posture. The study reveals that a variety of diseases, ranging from minor damage caused by wrong posture and habit of running to cascading problems, can occur and suggests appropriate pharmacopuncture treat-ment methods for each disease. Methods The Clinical pharmacopuncture Association conducted lectures focusing on blood spots and acupuncture points covered in the ongoing herbal acupuncture expert course, and deals with treatments for joint diseases that oc-cur frequently clinically in korean medicine clinics. Results The causes of marathon injuries dealt with overuse, structural abnormalities, cold weather, wrong habits, greed for recording, lack of practice, wrong shoes, and aging. Frequent diseases of running marathoners were ex-plained by dividing them into hip and femoral diseases, knee diseases, ankle and lower leg diseases, and hip and femoral diseases were classified into femoral cystitis, iliopsoas sprain, quadriceps sprain, and knee flexor sprain. Knee joint diseases were classified into the medial collateral ligament, lateral collateral ligament sprain, meniscus damage, and knee plexus pain syndrome. The ankle and lower leg diseases were classified into the upper limbs of the calf muscle, Achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, and ankle sprain. Ashycemia around the hip joint was explained in the main acupuncture point of hip treatment, and knee disease treatment blood was explained as EX-LE5, BL40, and SP7. The acupuncture point for treatment of ankle and lower leg diseases were ALTFL, ATFL, CFL, the triangular ligament peripheral tenderness, and plantar fascia. Conclusions Proper exercise methods and good exercise habits can prevent injuries that can occur, and if proper treatment and acupuncture treatment are treated in the correct acupuncture point for injuries caused by running, you can expect a great deal of treatment effect and enjoy running for a little longer.
