‘민들레처럼 발달장애인 활동센터’ 주간활동서비스 제공인력의 지원 경험

Support Experiences of a Day Activity Service Provider at the ‘Mindeulrecheoreom Activity Center’

연구목적: 이 연구의 목적은 주간활동서비스 제공기관 ‘민들레처럼 발달장애인 활동센터’에서 근무한 제공인력의 경험을 드러내고, 사회문화적 맥락 안에서 그 경험의 의미를 살펴보는 데 있다. 연구방법: 자문화기술지 연구 방법을 사용하여 2021년부터 약 4년간의 기억자료와 문화적 인공물, 면담자료 등을 수집하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 주간활동서비스를 제공하는 경험은 이용자들과 같이 살아가는 동행자로서의 역할 정체성을 찾는 과정이었다. 둘째, 개인별 지원은 객관적인 시각을 가지고 이루어져야 하며, 이는 이용자의 주변 지원인과 함께 만들어가며 지원회의 시스템을 통해 보완할 수 있었다. 셋째, ‘민들레처럼 발달장애인 활동센터’의 이용자와 제공인력은 실천공동체의 일원이며, 타인과 교류하고 협력하는 삶 속에서 평생학습을 이루고 있는 존재였다. 결론 및 제언: 주간활동서비스를 비롯한 성인 발달장애인의 지원은 신경다양성 관점이 다루어져야 하며, 사회복지, 특수교육, 평생학습 등 간학문적 접근이 필요함을 제안한다.

Purpose: This study explores the experiences of service provider at ‘Mindeulrecheoreom Activity Center’, a community-based institution offering day activity services, and interprets their meaning within a sociocultural context. Method: This study applied an autoethnographic approach, collected memory-based narratives, cultural artifacts, and interview data accumulated over approximately four years since 2021. Results: providing day activity services was a process of forming a role identity as a companion living alongside service users. Individual support could be supplemented through the user's support staff and support meeting system. both users and providers were members of a community of practice, engaging in lifelong learning through shared interactions and cooperation. Conclusion: support for adults with developmental disabilities, including day activity services, should be grounded in the neurodiversity perspective and approached through interdisciplinary collaboration across social welfare, special education, and lifelong learning.
