2022 개정 도덕과 교육과정의 가치관계 확장법에 대한 분석 및 제언 : 자신과의 관계 영역의 순환 구조를 중심으로

An Analysis and Suggestions on the Value Relationship Expansion Principle in the 2022 Revised Moral Education Curriculum : Focusing on the Cyclical Structure of the Self-Relationship Domain

본 연구의 목적은 ｢2022 개정 도덕과 교육과정｣의 가치관계 확장법이 갖는 특징에 주목하여, <자신과의 관계 영역>에서 ‘초월의 문제’를 다루는 체계 하에서 자신과의 관계에서 출발하여 ‘자신과의 관계로 회귀’하는 순환 구조가 구현되는 방식을 분석하고 가치관계 확장법의 적용에 대한 제안점을 밝히는 데 있다. 이를 위해 Ⅱ장에서는 가치관계 확장법의 도입 배경과 기대 효과를 검토하고, 가치관계 확장법에 따른 내용 영역의 변천 과정을 살펴봄으로써 ｢2022 개정 도덕과 교육과정｣에서의 가치관계 확장법이 갖는 특징을 두 가지 제시하였다. Ⅲ장 1절에서는 Ⅱ장에서 밝힌 특징 가운데 ‘초월의 문제’가 다루어지는 영역이 이동한 점에 주목하여 이전의 교육과정과 비교하였다. 2절에서는 ‘자신과의 관계로의 회귀’에 초점을 맞춰 현행 도덕과 교육과정의 과목들을 중심으로 내용 체계가 순환 구조를 취하고 있는지 살펴보았다. Ⅳ장에서는 ‘초월의 문제’를 <자신과의 관계 영역>에서 다룸으로써 ‘자신과의 관계로의 회귀’가 교과서에서 어떻게 구현되고 있는지 도덕2 를 중심으로 분석하였다. 마지막으로 Ⅴ장에서는 교육과정에서 밝히고 있는 ‘자신과의 관계로의 회귀’가 구체화되기 위한 교과서 서술의 예시를 제안하고 본 연구의 한계점을 밝혔다.

This study explores the distinctive characteristics of the value relationship expansion model as presented in the 2022 revised Korean moral education curriculum. Focusing on the structural reorganization in which the issue of transcendence is addressed within the domain of the relationship with oneself, this research analyzes how the curriculum embodies a circular structure—beginning and ultimately returning to the self. The purpose of the study is to examine the implementation of this circular model and to propose educational suggestions for applying the value relationship expansion model more effectively. Chapter II identifies two key features of the value relationship expansion model in the 2022 curriculum revision. Chapter III, Section 1, offers a diachronic comparison with previous curricula to highlight the shift in the placement of transcendence-related content. Section 2 analyzes whether the content structures of various subjects within the revised curriculum adopt a circular framework centered on returning to the self. In Chapter IV, middle school moral education textbooks are analyzed to explore how the relocation of transcendence to the self-related domain enables the circular structure to be realized in actual instructional materials. Finally, Chapter V proposes example narratives for textbooks that concretize the return to the self and discusses the limitations of the study.
