예비유아교사의 디지털 활용 유아동작교육 경험에 대한 질적 의미 탐색

A Qualitative Exploration of Pre-service Early Childhood Teachers’ Experiences in Using Digital Media for Movement Education

본 연구의 목적은 예비유아교사를 위한 동작교육 교과목에서의 디지털 활용기초 자료를 제공하는데 있다. 이를 위해 경기도 소재 대학의 유아교육과 3학년 학생 30명을 대상으로 6주간(3-9주차) 디지털 매체를 활용한 동작교육수업을 실시하였다. 자료수집은 연구참여자가 디지털 활용 유아동작교육에 참여하는 과정에서 작성한 저널, 활동 결과물(영상과 사진이미지), 교수자가 예비유아교사에게 디지털 활용 동작 교육활동 결과물에 대한 피드백 등을 통해 이루어졌다. 자료 분석은 Spradley(2016)의 영역-분류-구성요소 절차에 따른 분류 분석 절차를 따라 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 예비유아교사들의 디지털 매체를 활용한 동작교육 경험의 의미는 디지털 활용에 대한 두려움과 기대, 동작 이해를 돕는 새로운 렌즈로서의 디지털 매체 이해, 유아교육현장 적용 가능성 발견으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 예비유아교사의 디지털 활용이 동작교육에서의 새로운 이해를 넓히고 적용 가능성을 확인하는 교수 매체가 될 수 있음을 시사한다.

This study aims to provide foundational data on the use of digital media in movement education courses for pre-service early childhood teachers. For this purpose, a six-week (weeks 3-9) movement education program integrating digital media was implemented with 30 third-year students from the Department of Early Childhood Education at a university in Gyeonggi Province. Data were collected through journals written by participants during their engagement in digital media-integrated movement education, activity outcomes (videos and photographic images), and feedback provided by the instructor on these outcomes. Data analysis followed Spradley’s (2016) domain, taxonomic, and componential analysis procedures. The findings revealed that the meaning of pre-service early childhood teachers’ experiences with digital media in movement education was characterized by both apprehension and expectation regarding digital use, understanding digital media as a new lens for movement comprehension, and discovering possibilities for application in early childhood education settings. These results suggest that digital media can serve as a pedagogical tool that broadens new understandings and confirms applicability in movement education for pre-service early childhood teachers.
