지역사회 통합돌봄 간호사의 근무 경험

Experience of Nurses Working in Community-Itegrated Care

본 연구는 지역사회 통합돌봄 간호사의 근무 경험을 분석하여 새로운 지역사회 통합돌봄 역할을 개발하기 위해 시도하였다. 연구 기간은 2024년 8월 1일부터 9월 30일까지이었으며, 연구대상은 G시 통합돌봄사업에서 근무하는 간호사 10명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구참여자 선정은 의도적인 표집 방법을 활용하였고 포커스 그룹 인터뷰 진행 전에 인터뷰 내용에 대한 녹음을 동의받은 후 본격적인 연구를 진행하였고 수집한 자료는 바로 전사하면서 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 통합돌봄 간호사의 근무 경험 3개의 주제, 6개의 범주, 14개의 하위범주로 도출하였다. 3개의 주제는 ‘새로운 돌봄 유형에 대한 기대감’, ‘진행되지 않는 업무에 대한 답답함’, ‘간호 역할 범위를 확대함’으로 분류하였고, 6개의 범주는 ‘통합돌봄 정립에 기여한다는 기대감’, ‘다학제 업무에 대한 기대감’, ‘새로운 업무를 만들어 가는 부담감’, ‘법적 한계로 인한 역할 축소’, ‘일차 돌봄의 중요성을 인지함’, ‘새로운 간호역량을 개발함’으로 도출하였다. 본 연구 결과를 통하여 통합 돌봄 간호는 진행형의 돌봄 유형이지만 간호사들이 법적 제한 속에서도 할 수 있는 만큼 일차 돌봄 역할을 담당하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

Objectives: This study aims to qualitatively analyze the work experiences of community-integrated care nurses through focus group interviews. The goal is to identify the emerging roles of nurses in community-integrated care and to develop an ideal role for integrated care nurses. Methods: The research was conducted from August 1 to September 30, 2024, involving 10 nurses from an integrated care project in G city, selected through purposeful sampling. After obtaining consent for participation and recording, data collected from the focus group interviews were transcribed and analyzed using qualitative research methods. Results:The analysis revealed three main themes, six categories, and 14 subcategories related to the work experiences of integrated care nurses. The three themes identified were: 'Expectations for a New Type of Care,' 'Frustration with Unfulfilled Tasks,' and 'Expanding the Scope of Nursing Roles.' The six categories included: 'Expectation of Contributing to the Establishment of Integrated Care,' 'Expectations for Multidisciplinary Work,' 'Burden of Creating New Tasks,' 'Role Reduction Due to Legal Limitations,' 'Recognition of the Importance of Primary Care,' and 'Development of New Nursing Competencies.' Conclusions:The findings indicate that while integrated care is still an evolving model, nurses are actively assuming primary care roles to the extent permitted by legal constraints.
