영유아교사의 자기성찰지능과 놀이지원역량의 관계에서 교사학습공동체의 매개효과

The Mediating Effect of Teacher Learning Community in the Relationship between Intrapersonal Intelligence and Play Support Competency of Early Childhood Teachers

본 연구의 목적은 영유아교사의 자기성찰지능과 놀이지원역량의 관계에서 교사학습공동체의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 통해 영유아교사의 놀이지원역량을 향상시킬 수 있는 이론적 토대를 마련하고자 하였다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 전국의 유치원 및 어린이집에 재직 중인 영유아교사 322명으로부터 자료를 수집하였다. 교사학습공동체의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 다음과 같이 분석을 실행하였다. 수집한 자료는 Baron과 Kenny(1986)의 인과단계접근법(causal step approach)을 활용하여 분석하였으며 매개효과의 유의성은 Sobel 검정으로 확인하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 교사학습공동체는 영유아교사의 자기성찰지능과 놀이지원역량의 관계를 부분매개하는 것으로 확인되었다. 즉, 자기성찰지능은 영유아교사의 놀이지원역량에 직접 영향을 미치지만, 교사학습공동체를 통해서 간접적인 영향도 미침을 의미한다. 교사학습공동체가 자기성찰지능과 놀이지원역량의 관계를 부분매개한다는 본 연구의 결과에 근거해서 영유아교사의 놀이지원역량을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안에 대해 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study is to verify the mediating effect of the teacher learning community on the relationship between intrapersonal intelligence and play support competency of early childhood teachers. Through this, we aimed to establish a theoretical foundation for improving the play support competency of early childhood teachers. To achieve these goals, data were collected from 322 early childhood teachers working in kindergartens and daycare centers nationwide. To verify the mediating effect of the teacher learning community, the following analysis was conducted. The collected data were analyzed using the causal step approach of Baron and Kenny(1986), and the significance of the mediating effect was confirmed by the Sobel test. The results are as follows. It was confirmed that the teacher learning community partially mediated the relationship between early childhood teachers’ intrapersonal intelligence and play support competency. That is, intrapersonal intelligence directly influences the play support competency of early childhood teachers, but also has an indirect influence through the teacher learning community. Based on the results of this study, which showed that the teacher learning community partially mediates the relationship between intrapersonal intelligence and play support competency, we discussed ways to improve the play support competency of early childhood teachers.
