Objective: The aim of this study is to provide basic data on the role of early childhood teach-ers and various mediating factors that qualitatively influence early childhood development. Methods: Data were collected from 306 early childhood teachers to examine grit, emotional expressivity, emotional regulation, and the interactions between teachers and children. The da-ta were analyzed using SPSS 27.0 with SPSS Process Macro 4.3. Results: First, there were inter-correlations among early childhood teachers’ grit, emotional expressivity, emotional regulation, and teacher-child interactions. Second, it was found that emotional expressivity and emotional regulation showed partial mediating effects in the relationship between early childhood teach-ers’ grit and teacher-child interactions. Conclusions: This study suggests that early childhood teachers’ grit has a positive effect on teacher-child interaction, and that this effect is influenced by teachers’ emotional expressivity and emotional regulation.
