Objective: This study examined the structural relationships among self-efficacy, career out-come expectations, and career preparation behavior in predicting career satisfaction, and fur-ther analyzed whether these relationships differ according to participation in a university career program. Methods: An online survey was conducted with 582 university students, assessing self-efficacy, career outcome expectations, career preparation behavior, and career satisfaction. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, and serial mediation analysis with the PROCESS macro. Results: Students who participated in career programs reported sig-nificantly higher levels of career outcome expectations, career preparation behavior, and career satisfaction than non-participants. Self-efficacy had a direct effect on career satisfaction and an indirect effect through the serial mediation of career outcome expectations and career prepara-tion behavior, with these relationships differing according to participation in career programs. Conclusions: This study, based on SCCT, examined the structural relationships among self-efficacy, career outcome expectations, career preparation behavior, and career satisfaction, thereby refining the linkage between personal beliefs, behaviors, and outcomes.
