Objective: This study aims to identify latent profiles of multicultural adolescents based on ac-culturative stress, national identity, bicultural acceptance, and multicultural receptivity, using data from the fourth wave of the first Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study (MAPS) conducted by the Korea Youth Policy Institute. Methods: Latent profile analysis (LPA) was performed using Mplus 8.3, and multinomial logistic regression, descriptive statistics, and reliability analyses were conducted in SPSS 22.0 with 1,380 participants (674 boys and 706 girls). Results: Three distinct latent profiles were identified: Passive Acceptance Type, Healthy Integration Type, and Mixed Conflict Type. The Passive Acceptance Type showed low acculturative stress and weak accept-ance-related attitudes, whereas the Healthy Integration Type exhibited low stress but high na-tional identity and multicultural acceptance. The Mixed Conflict Type demonstrated high stress and low acceptance, indicating psychological instability. Regression results showed that Korean language proficiency, depression, social withdrawal, ego-resilience, self-esteem, and social sup-port significantly predicted profile membership. Conclusions: Higher ego-resilience, self-esteem, and family or friend support increase the likelihood of belonging to the Healthy Integration Type, whereas higher depression and lower resilience predict the Mixed Conflict Type. These findings highlight the need for tailored psychosocial interventions in multicultural adolescents’ accultur-ation process.
