수세기에 걸쳐 간행된 조선의 역음서는 중국어 음운체계 변화를 통시적으로 바라보는 데 있어 매우 중요한 연구자료이다. 특히 18세기 중엽에 편찬된 『朴通事新釋』은 변화된 사회상을 반영하여 한어문에 많은 수정을 가하였고 그 언해본인 『朴通事新釋諺解』 역시 주음과 번역에 있어 이전 언해본에 비해 많은 변화를 보인다. 본고는 『朴通事新釋諺解』의 중국어 성모체계를 고찰해 보았다. 우선 『朴通事新釋諺解』의 좌우음 성모체계를 정리함과 동시에 七音을 기준으로 『朴通事』의 가장 오래된 간본인 『飜譯朴通事』의 성모체계와 비교 분석하여 일반적인 대응 관계에서 벗어나는 字들을 중심으로 『朴通事新釋諺解』가 반영하는 근대 중국어에 일어난 성모체계의 변화를 살펴보았다.
Translation and interpretation studies were a crucial national task during the Koryo and Joseon Dynasties. In particular, Joseon tried to nurture the translation and interpreting capabilities of interpreters in such a way as translation and publication of conversation textbooks. The Korean Translated Version of Nogeoldae and Parktongsa of the Joseon Dynasty, compiled for the practical purposes of raising the quality of translators and interpreters, is a valuable material for Early Modern Chinese Phonological Research. Parktongsa Sinseok Eonhae, compiled in 1765, is the last of the Korean Translated Version of Parktongsa, reflecting the phonological system of Chinese Zheng-Suyin in the 18th century. Therefore, this paper attempted to organize the Chinese initial system of Parktongsa Sinseok Eonhae and revealed changes in the Chinese initial system from the 16th to the 18th century through comparison with the Chinese initial system of Beonyeok Parktongsa. The analysis results are summarized around examples in which the left and right pronunciation of Parktongsa Sinseok Eonhae are different from the left and right pronunciation of Beonyeok Parktongsa as follows. First, the left pronunciation of Parktongsa Sinseok Eonhae is consistent with Zhengyin of Saseongtonghae. Second, the right pronunciation of Parktongsa Sinseok Eonhae reflects the Suyin of the 18th century. Third, there is a case where the initial of variant characters is reflected in the Left-Right pronunciation of Parktongsa Sinseok Eonhae. Fourth, there are a few cases where it is an error. Fifth, Weimu has completely changed to zero initial. Sixth, Rimu is written in several Korean alphabets in the right pronunciation of Parktongsa Sinseok Eonhae.
