성인학습자의 학교현장실습 경험의 의미

Meaning of Adult Learners' Experience in School Field Practice

본 연구는 성인학습자의 학교현장실습 경험의 의미를 알아보고자 실시하였다. 연구참여자는 경기도 전문대학 유아교육과 성인학습자 중 학교현장실습을 이수한 20명이다. 연구방법은 연구참여자가 학교현장실습을 이수한 후 작성한 실습소감문과 자기보고식 성찰일지, 상담일지를 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성인학습자는 학교현장실습을 통해 유아에 대한 경험, 교육과정 경험, 어린이집과의 차이, 교사의 역할, 자기 성찰에 관해 긍정적인 경험을 하였다. 둘째, 성인학습자는 학교현장실습을 통해 유아의 특성, 기관의 차이, 실습과 학업의 병행, 실습생의 역할, 체력적인 부분에서 어려움을 경험하였다. 셋째, 성인학습자는 학교현장실습을 통해 누리과정의 의미, 교사의 역할, 기관의 특성에 대해 재인식하게 되었다. 넷째, 성인학습자는 학교현장실습을 통해 실천적 지식 형성, 소명의식과 교육철학 확립, 교육현장에 대한 이해, 교사역할 재인식, 전문가로 성장할 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다고 생각했다. 본 연구는 학교현장실습 운영 시 성인학습자의 특성을 고려한 실습 매뉴얼과 운영지침을 마련하고, 사전교육을 실시하는 데 기초가 될 수 있으며, 학교현장실습 내실화를 위한 방안 마련에 기초가 된다는 점에서 의의가 있을 것으로 생각한다.

This study was conducted to find out the meaning of adult learners' school field practice experience. The study participants were 20 adult Learners from the early childhood education department of Gyeonggi-do junior college who completed school field training. The research method analyzed the practice reports, self-report reflection diaries, and counseling diaries prepared by the study participants after completing the school field practice. The research results are as follows. First, adult learners had positive experiences about infants, curriculum experiences, differences from daycare centers, the role of teachers, and self-reflection through school field practice. Second, adult learners experienced difficulties in the characteristics of infants, differences in institutions, parallel practice and study, the role of trainees, and physicality through school field practice. Third, adult learners became re-aware of the meaning of the Nuri process, the role of teachers, and the characteristics of the institution through school field practice. Fourth, I thought it was significant that adult learners could form practical knowledge, establish a sense of calling and educational philosophy, understand the educational field, re-recognize the role of teachers, and grow into experts through school field practice. This study will be meaningful in that it can be the basis for preparing practice manuals and operating guidelines considering the characteristics of adult learners when operating school field practice, conducting pre-education, and preparing measures to improve school field practice.
