Objectives: This study aimed to examine the impact of the organizational culture in dental healthcare institutions on the job embeddedness among dental hygienists in healthcare institutions. Methods: A survey was conducted among 178 dental hygienists in a metropolitan area. Data were analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis, and regression analysis. Results: Organizational culture differed significantly by age, education, marital status, type of institution, and number of dental hygienists. Job embeddedness varied significantly by age, work experience, education, position, marital status, type of institution, and income. Innovation and growth showed positive correlations with community and trust, organizational commitment and satisfaction, job continuity and compensation, and coworker relationships and interactions. Regression analysis identified overall organizational culture, job continuity and compensation, and organizational commitment and satisfaction as significant predictors of job embeddedness. Conclusions: Fostering an innovative organizational culture, ensuring fair compensation and job autonomy, and implementing career-stage-specific job embeddedness programs are key strategies to enhance long-term retention among dental hygienists.
