永川李氏의 文集과 조선후기 大邱 지성계 - 문헌서지적 검토를 겸하여

An Anthology of Yeongcheon Yi Clan and the Intellectual System of Daegu in the Late Joseon Dynasty

이 논문은 조선 후기 대구에 살았던 영천이씨의 문집을 연구한 것이다. 영천이씨는 비교적 늦게 대구에 들어온 가문이다. 때문에 영천이씨 가문을 연구하면 향촌 사족의 대구 정착 과정 및 先移住 사족과의 연결 과정을 고찰할 수 있다. 나아가 17세기 이후 대구 지역 향촌 사족이 가문의 정체성을 어떻게 만들어가고 또 家格을 유지하는지 알 수 있다. 나아가 영천이씨의 문집을 고찰하면 대구 지역 서원과 향교의 강학 문화와 역사를 알 수 있다. 대구 지역에는 書院이 많지 않다. 그나마 가문에서 세워 운영한 서원이 대부분이고, 전국적으로 이름난 서원은 없다. 이런 상황에 비추어 볼 때 대구의 연경서원은 매우 중요하다. 대구 향교 養士齋 역시 대구 지역 강학 역사에서 매우 중요하다. 영천이씨 집안은 연경서원과 양사재 건립 및 운영에 깊이 관여하여 그와 관련한 기록을 많이 남기고 있다. 무엇보다 영천이씨의 문집은 각 세대별 뚜렷한 특징을 남기고 있어, 이를 연구하면 조선 후기 대구 지역 지성계의 동향을 알 수 있다. 퇴계학과 서울 지역의 학문을 모두 수용하였기에 영천이씨의 문집 속에는 다채로운 풍경이 담겨 있는바, 그것이 지닌 지역사적 의미 역시 함께 조명할 수 있으리라 기대한다.

This thesis studies the writings of Yeongcheon Lee clan who lived in Daegu in the late Joseon Dynasty. Yeongcheon Lee clan is a family that entered Daegu relatively late. Therefore, if you study the Yeongcheon Lee clan, you can consider the process of the Hyangchon family's settlement in Daegu and the process of connecting with the Seonju family. Furthermore, we can examine how the Hyangchon family in Daegu created the family's identity and maintained the family dignity(家格) after the 17th century. If you consider Yeongcheon Lee's writings, you can see the culture and history of seowon and hyanggyo in Daegu. There are not many seowon in the Daegu area. However, most of the seowon were built and operated by the family, and there are no famous seowon nationwide. In light of this situation, YeonKyeongseowon in Daegu is very important. Daegu Hyanggyo Yangsajae(養士齋) is also very important in the history of lectures in the Daegu region. The Yeongcheon Lee family is deeply involved in the establishment and operation of YeonKyeongseowon and Yangsajae, leaving a lot of records related to it. Above all, Yeongcheon Lee's writings leave distinct characteristics for each generation, and if you study them, you can see the trend of the intellectual community in Daegu in the late Joseon Dynasty. Since it has accepted both Toegyehak and Seoul studies, Yeongcheon Lee's writings contain colorful landscapes, and it is expected that it will be able to shed light on its regional historical meaning.
