Purpose -This study aims to analyze the impact of integrity impressions, safety concerns, cultural attraction, and contact frequency on job seekers' willingness to work in emerging economies, providing theoretical and practical guidance for multinational enterprises' talent management and government policies on overseas employment. Design/methodology/approach - This study uses quantitative methods, surveying prospective expatriates and applying statistical analyses to assess how integrity impressions, safety concerns, cultural attraction, and contact frequency affect willingness to work in emerging economies. Findings - Age and language barriers have a significantly negative impact on the willingness to work in emerging economies, while safety concerns also significantly suppress employment intentions. Conversely, cultural attractiveness and frequency of contact exhibit a notably positive promotional effect, with the influence of contact frequency being the most prominent. Research implications or Originality - This study reveals the key factors influencing the willingness of international talent to work in emerging economies, theoretically enriching cross-cultural adaptation theory.Practically, it provides data support for multinational corporations to optimize talent recruitment and management, while offering empirical evidence for governments and enterprises to refine overseas employment policies and enhance national appeal on the global stage.
