Due to its links with seaports and multimodal transport routes, Baikal-Amur Mainline (BAM) has become an integral part of the Russian long-distance logistics system. Although BAM related research covers a wide spectrum, these contributions remain dispersed, offering no integrated view of how academic priorities have shifted across decades. To fill the gaps, this study is set to analyze the thematic structure and evolution of BAM research using Social Network Analysis (SNA). As a result of keyword analysis for the period 1981-2018 shows that “BAM” and “TSR” dominate the research network, being the most central and often related topics. High-level keywords such as “Silk Road”, “Russian Far East”, “Competitiveness”, and “International Transport Corridor” indicate that BAM’s research has been included in broader geopolitical and economic discussions about Eurasian transport. The results for the period 2019-2025 show a shift towards modernization and infrastructure-oriented research, with BAM remaining the most central theme. This study clarifies the intellectual structure of BAM-related research, providing scientists with a better basis for identifying unexplored topics
