This study aims to identify the factor influencing farming satisfaction and explore perceived generational differences between Young and Middle-Aged Farmers. To collect research data, a survey was conducted over a one-month period starting April 29, 2024, using a structured questionnaire. This study targeted 100 young farmers (ages 19-39) and 100 middle-aged farmers (ages 40-64) in rural areas through a professional research agency. The main results are as follows: First, among the sub-factors of generational difference perception, ‘behavior-collaboration preference’ and ‘behavior-organizational norms’ had a significant positive(+) effect on farming satisfaction in both the young and middle-aged farmer groups. Second, ‘behavior-communication style’ was found to have a positive influence on farming satisfaction only among middle-aged farmer. Third, Although the value orientation of the two generations showed a significant difference in the t-test, it did not significantly impact farming satisfaction. Lastly, monthly income emerged as a critical variable significantly affecting farming satisfaction in both groups.
