안동의 공연예술콘텐츠에 나타난 지역 이야기의 스토리텔링 전환 양상과 유형

The Storytelling Transformation and Types of Local Stories in Andong's Performing Arts Content

지역 문화자원을 활용한 브랜드를 형성하고자 하는 움직임이 커지면서, 각 지역의 고유한 이야기를 바탕으로 한 공연예술콘텐츠가 주목받고 있다. 지역의 공연예술콘텐츠는 지역홍보와 도시브랜드 이미지 강화에 기여할 수 있는 강력한 도시마케팅의 수단이다. 안동은 한국의 대표적인 전통문화도시로, 지역의 고유한 이야기를 공연예술콘텐츠로 전환하는 작업이 활발히 이루어지고 있는 도시이다. 안동의 문화자원을 활용한 콘텐츠 관련 연구는 안동지역의 설화를 바탕으로 한 웹툰 연구, 기록유산 속 공간과 이야기 자원의 활용방안 연구, 공연관광콘텐츠의 활성화 방안, 안동뮤지컬 공연 지불의사분석, 지역민들의 공연예술 참여에 대한 이해관계자 인식, 안동국제탈춤 페스티벌의 무용공연을 분석한 연구들이 있다. 그러나 지역의 고유한 이야기를 활용한 공연콘텐츠에 대한 연구는 희소한 편이다. 이에 본 연구는 서성은의 스토리텔링전환 유형 이론을 통해 안동지역의 이야기를 변용한 공연콘텐츠 8편을 분석해, 지역 고유의 사상과 철학이 담긴 지역 이야기가 현대 공연예술콘텐츠로 어떻게 전환되는지 고찰하고자 한다. 이로써 지역 공연예술콘텐츠의 향후 발전 방향을 모색하고, 지역 문화발전을 강화하는 동시에 글로벌 콘텐츠로 확장될 수 있는 가능성을 제시할 수 있을 것이다. 지역 고유의 문화자원을 현대적으로 재해석한 콘텐츠의 양상을 분석함으로써, 지역의 새로운 공연예술콘텐츠 창출에 기여할 수 있는 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

As the movement to form a brand using local cultural resources grows, performing arts contents based on the unique stories of each region are attracting attention. Local performing arts contents are a powerful means of city marketing that can contribute to local promotion and strengthening the image of the city brand. Andong is a representative traditional cultural city in Korea, and the work of converting the unique story of the region into performing arts contents is being actively carried out. This study analyzes eight performance contents that transform the story of the Andong region through Seo Sung-eun's theory of storytelling transition type. Through this, we examine how local stories containing local thoughts and philosophies are converted into contemporary performing arts content. As a result, it will be possible to explore the future development direction of local performing arts contents, strengthen local cultural development, and suggest the possibility of expanding them as global contents. By analyzing the aspect of content that is a modern reinterpretation of local cultural resources, it is expected that it will be able to provide important implications that can contribute to the creation of new performing arts contents in the region.
