사관생도 리더십 교육의 새로운 모색 - 군 리더십 위기 속 정체성과 교육 패러다임 재구성을 중심으로

A Study on Cadet Leadership Transformation: Reframing Identity and Pedagogy under the Crisis of Military Leadership

이 연구는 군 리더십 위기 심화라는 맥락에서 사관생도 리더십 교육의 변화를 탐구한다. 사회적 기대의 변화, 세대 교체, 사관학교 내부의 다양한 과제를 배경으로 기존의 전통적 사관생도 리더십 교육 모델은 점점 불충분하게 여겨지고 있다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구는 사관생도의 정체성 형성과 리더십 교육에 활용되는 교육 패러다임을 재검토하며, 군사 전문성과 윤리적 책임, 비판적 사고, 적응형 리더십 역량을 균형 있게 함양할 수 있는 새로운 모델을 제안하는 것을 목표로 하였다.. 연구방법은 비교 사례 연구, 리더십 이론, 사관생도 및 교관 인터뷰를 바탕으로 하였다. 연구 결과, 4차 산업혁명 시대와 미래 전장 환경 변화의 특성을 고려한 사관생도 리더십 교육의 발전 방향을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 국내 사관생도 리더십 교육의 체계적 개선 필요성을 학문적·실무적 관점에서 현대 군사 환경과 사회적 요구에 부합하는 리더십 교육 재구축을 위한 체계적 프레임워크를 제시하였다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.

This study explores changes in cadet leadership education within the context of the deepening crisis of military leadership. Against the backdrop of shifting social expectations, generational change, and various internal challenges within military academies, traditional models of cadet leadership education are increasingly perceived as insufficient. In this context, the study reexamines the educational paradigms used for cadet identity formation and leadership development, and aims to propose a new model that can balance the cultivation of military professionalism, ethical responsibility, critical thinking, and adaptive leadership competencies. The research methodology is based on comparative case studies, leadership theories, and interviews with cadets and instructors. The findings suggest directions for the advancement of cadet leadership education that take into account the characteristics of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and changes in the future battlefield environment. This study is significant in that it presents a systematic framework for reconstructing leadership education aligned with contemporary military environments and societal demands, highlighting the need for comprehensive improvement of cadet leadership education in Korea from both academic and practical perspectives.
