운곡시에 담긴 가족, 그 애틋함의 정서

Family in Ungok poem, the emotion of affection

운곡시사에는 가족과 관련한 시 40여 수 이상 있는데 이에 대한 연구는 이루어지지 않고 있는 상황이다. 이들 시는 가족을 대하는 운곡의 다양한 情意를 이해할 수 있다는 점에서 조명할 필요가 있다. 그런 점에서 본고는 가족의 죽음을 바라보는 운곡의 애끓는 정서와 지아비와 아버지의 애틋한 사랑과 연민, 그리고 형제 간에 보이는 농축된 애정과 당부를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 가족의 죽음을 다룬 ’죽음, 그 이별의 變奏‘에서는 딸과, 아내, 그리고 가형인 천상을 대상으로 영원한 이별이 주는 상실과 비애감을 살폈다. 죽음에 따른 상실과 비애의 결은 그 대상이 누구냐에 따라 달라질 수밖에 없다. ‘夫情과 父情의 애틋함’에는 아내를 회억하며 기약하는 남편으로서의 애틋한 정서와 멀리 떨어져 있는 아들에 대한 아버지의 근심 걱정과 당부를 통해 父情의 애틋함을 엿볼 수 있다. ‘형제 간의 情意’에서는 형과 아우라는 관계와 출사의 여부에 따라 형제에 대한 시적 정서는 차이를 보인다. 가형인 천상은 믿고 따르던 의지처였던 반면 아우 천우는 관심과 당부의 대상이다. 이상으로 아내, 딸, 아들, 형제를 대상으로 그들을 향해 펼친 운곡의 애틋한 정서를 살펴보았다. 가족은 일상 속 익숙한 존재란 점에서 우리는 그 소중함을 잊고 살아간다. 우리 시대의 가족은 어떤 의미를 지니는 것인가, 여전히 함께 있어도 그리운 존재로 남아있는 것인지 반문하게 한다. 가족의 애틋한 정을 다룬 운곡의 시를 통해 그 소중함을 생각하게 한다.

There are more than 40 poems related to the family in “UngokSisa[耘谷詩史]”, and no research has been conducted on this. These poems need to be illuminated in that they can understand the various emotions of Ungok[耘谷] toward the family. In that respect, this study focused on the heartbreaking emotion of Ungok looking at the death of his family, the affection and compassion of the husband and father, and the concentrated affection and request between brothers. In “Death, the Variations of That Separation”, which deals with the death of a family, the loss and sorrow of eternal separation were examined for daughters, wives, and brother Cheon-Sang[天常]. The determination of loss and sorrow following death is bound to vary depending on who the target is. In “husband's affection and father's affection for justice”, we can see the affection for the father through the affectionate emotion as a husband who remembers his wife and worries and requests for his distant son. In “Brotherly Affection”, the poetic emotion toward the brother differs depending on the relationship between the brother and the aura and whether he is going to attend or not. While the older brother Cheon-sang was believe and follow, the younger brother Cheon-woo[天佑] is the object of interest and request. As described above, we looked at the affectionate emotions of Ungok toward them for wives, daughters, sons, and brothers. Since family is a familiar being in everyday life, we forget the importance of it. It makes us ask what the family of our time means and remains a missed being even though we are together. It makes us think about the importance of it through a poem of Ungok that deals with the affection of the family.
