항공여행객의 항공기 비상구 좌석 정보 인식이 지각된 가치, 안전행동의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

A Study on the Effects of Airline Passengers' Awareness of Emergency Exit Seat Information on Perceived Value and Safety Behavioral Intention

본 연구는 항공기 비상구 좌석 유료화 정책 확산에 따라 승객의 좌석 정보 인식이 지각된 가치와 안전행동의도에 미치는 영향 관계를 분석하는 데 목적을 두었다. 특히 비상구 좌석을 단순한 편의 공간이 아닌 안전을 위한 책임의 공간으로 인식하게 함으로써 항공 안전 관리의 실효성을 확보하고 승객의 안전 의식을 고취할 수 있는 실무적 가이드라인을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구 방법으로는 최근 2년 이내 항공 여행 경험이 있고 비상구 좌석을 이해하는 이용객 374명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 또한, 수집된 데이터를 기반으로 SPSS 21과 AMOS 21을 활용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석 및 구조방정식 모형 검증을 수행하였다. 실증 분석 결과, 비상구 좌석 정보 인식은 지각된 가치의 하위요인인 경제적·윤리적·감정적 가치 모두에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 경제적 가치와 윤리적 가치는 안전행동의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으나, 감정적 가치는 유의미한 영향을 확인하지 못하였다. 항공여행객의 비상구 좌석 정보 인식은 안전참여의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인하였다. 본 연구는 비상구 좌석의 유료화에 대한 마케팅 요소와 항공 안전이라는 공익적 가치를 통합 분석하여 효율적인 좌석 운영과 기내 안전 확보를 위한 전략적 방향성을 제시하였다. 또한, 향후 항공 안전의 실효성을 높이는 실무적 대안으로 활용되기를 기대한다.

This study aimed to analyze the relationship between passengers' awareness of emergency exit seat information and their perceived value and safety behavior intentions, following the widespread adoption of paid emergency exit seat seating policies. In particular, this study aims to provide practical guidelines to secure the effectiveness of aviation safety management and enhance passengers' safety awareness by encouraging them to perceive emergency exit row seats as a space of responsibility for safety, rather than merely a space of convenience. A survey is conducted with 374 passengers who have traveled by air within the past two years and understood the importance of emergency exit seats. Using SPSS 21 and AMOS 21, the collected data are analyzed for frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and structural equation modeling. This study comprehensively analyzes the policy of charging for emergency exit seats and the public interest of aviation safety, thereby proposing strategic directions for efficient seat management and ensuring in-flight safety. Furthermore, it is hoped that this approach will serve as a practical alternative to enhance the effectiveness of aviation safety in the future.
