Corruption governance is the key to Marxist political parties maintaining their purity and exercising long-term governance. As the world's largest Marxist political party, the Party has always regarded the fight against corruption as a core proposition vital to the survival of the regime. In addressing the unique challenges faced by a large party with an enormous organizational scale and a complex governance environment, the Party has developed its own adaptive logic. Taking the party adaptability theory as the analytical framework, this paper sorts out the evolution of corruption governance from the “Three-Anti” Movement in the early days of the People's Republic of China to the self-reform in the new era, and further reveals that Party leadership, people's supervision, and law-based anti-corruption constitute the adaptive logic for the Party to maintain long-term governance. This adaptive logic not only provides a Chinese solution to solving the unique problems of large parties, but also offers Chinese theoretical resources for the development of Marxist party building theory.
