The Impact of Body Shape Perception on Aesthetic Healthcare Behavior and Psychological Wellbeing among Omnivore Consumers

This study aimed to investigate the relationships among body shape perception, aesthetic healthcare behavior and psychological wellbeing among adult women who have an omnivore consumption tendency. For this purpose, a questionnaire survey was performed from December 17 to 31, 2025, and a total of 302 copies were used for final analysis. The results found the following: First, body shape perception had a statistically significant effect on aesthetic healthcare behavior. Second, a higher level of body shape perception and self-care behavior had a positive influence on psychological wellbeing. It is anticipated that the study results would contribute to the development of personalized programs and integrated service infrastructure strategies which would in turn enhance the competitiveness of the aesthetic healthcare industry.
