남초 커뮤니티의 여성혐오 표현에 대한 형태의미론적 연구

이 논문은 남초 커뮤니티에서 사용되는 여성혐오 표현을 형태의미론적 관점에서 분 석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 대표적인 남초 커뮤니티에서 젠더 갈등에서 큰 이슈가 되었던 사건을 중심으로 댓글을 수집하고, 여성을 지칭하는 혐오 표현들 을 추출하여 분석하였다. 의미적으로 분류하였을 때 이들은 신체(외모, 성별, 성기), 정신(지능, 정신질환, 사상), 소속(대학, 국적)을 포함한 다양한 의미 체계를 보였으 며 특히 체중, 페미니즘, 한국 국적이 혐오의 주요 표적으로 나타났다. 형태의미적 분석에서는 ‘개-’, ‘-충’과 같은 유사 접사를 활용한 파생어, '보지'를 중심으로 한 혼성어, ‘한녀’, ‘보적보’, ‘보돕보’와 같은 축약어가 높은 생산성을 보임을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 본 논문에서는 사회언어학적·수사학적 시각에서 내텍스트화 개념을 통해 남초 커뮤니티가 여초 커뮤니티의 표현을 전유하고 재맥락화하는 양상을 밝혔 으며, 특히 축약어가 수사학적 속도를 높여 혐오 담화를 효율적으로 확산시키는 기 제로 작용함을 규명하였다. 본 연구는 여성혐오 표현의 조어 과정과 담화적 기능을 체계적으로 분석함으로써 온라인 혐오 표현 연구에 기여하고자 한다.

This paper aims to analyze misogynistic expressions used in male-dominated online communities (manosphere) from a morphosemantic perspective. To this end, comments were collected from representative male-dominated communities focusing on an incident that became a major issue in gender conflict, and misogynistic expressions referring to women were extracted and analyzed. When semantically classified, these expressions exhibited diverse semantic systems including body (appearance, sex, genitalia), mental (intelligence, mental illness, ideology), and affiliation (university, nationality), with body weight, feminism, and Korean nationality emerging as primary targets of misogyny. Morphosemantic analysis confirmed high productivity in pseudo-derivations using affixes such as 'gae-' and '-chung', blends centered on 'boji' (vulva), and abbreviations such as 'hannyeo', 'bojeokbo', and 'bodopbo'. In particular, this paper reveals, from a sociolinguistic and rhetorical perspective, how male-dominated communities appropriate and recontextualize expressions from female-dominated communities through the concept of entextualization, demonstrating that abbreviations function as mechanisms that enhance rhetorical velocity to efficiently disseminate misogynistic discourse. This study seeks to contribute to research on online hate speech by systematically analyzing the word-formation processes and discursive functions of misogynistic expressions.
