깊이 있는 학습을 위한 개념기반 가정과 단원설계: 푸드리터러시(Food Literacy)를 중심으로

Concept-Based Unit Design in Home Economics for Deeper Learning: Focusing on Food Literacy

본 연구의 목적은 Erickson et al.(2017)의 개념기반 단원설계 이론을 적용하여 푸드리터러시 함양을 위한 가정과 단원을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2022 개정 교육과정과 관련 선행연구를 분석하고, Erickson et al.(2017)의 11단계를 ‘개념망 정립–교수·학습요소 구체화–단원 개관 완성’의 3단계 공정으로 재구조화하여 단원을 설계하였다. 전문가 타당도 검증 결과 모든 문항에 대한 내용타당도 지수(I-CVI)가 1.0으로 산출되었으며, 전문가 피드백을 바탕으로 평가 서술어 등을 정교화하여 현장 적합성을 높였다. 최종 개발된 단원 ‘한 끼로 기르는 푸드리터러시’는 시스템·건강·관계·책임이라는 4개의 개념적 렌즈를 바탕으로, 푸드시스템, 식품선택, 푸드시스템과의 상호작용, 지속가능한 실천의 4개 영역을 유기적으로 통합하여 구성하였다. 본 연구는 푸드리터러시 함양을 위한 실천적 설계 모형을 제시하고, 교사의 개념적 고찰에 기반한 교육과정 재구성의 중요성을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study is to develop a Home Economics unit to foster food literacy by applying the concept-based curriculum theory of Erickson et al.(2017). First, the 2022 Revised Home Economics Curriculum and relevant literature were analyzed. Subsequently, Erickson’s 11 steps were restructured into a three-stage process—establishing a conceptual network, specifying instructional elements, and finalizing the unit overview—to design the unit. Expert evaluation confirmed the unit's content validity with an I-CVI of 1.0, and the design was further refined by aligning core food-related content and specifying assessment descriptors to enhance field applicability. The final unit, “Cultivating Food Literacy Through a Single Meal,” integrates four core areas—food systems, food choice, food system interaction, and sustainable practice—through the conceptual lenses of systems, health, relationships, and responsibility. This study provides a practical design model for food literacy education and highlights the importance of curriculum reconstruction based on the teacher's conceptual inquiry.
