중도중복장애학생 교육에서의 디지털 에듀테크 활용 경험 및 인식

Experiences and Perceptions of Digital Educational Technology Use in the Education of Students with Severe and Multiple Disabilities

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 특수교사가 중도중복장애학생 교육에서 디지털 에듀테크를 활용한경험과 인식을 살펴보고, 효과적인 디지털 에듀테크 활용 방안을 제안하는 데 있다. 연구방법: 중도중복장애학생에게 디지털 에듀테크를 적용한 경험이 있는 특수교사 10명을 연구 참여자로선정하였다. 연구결과: 중도중복장애학생 교육에서의 디지털 에듀테크 활용 경험 및 인식에 대한 주제는 5개의 대주제와 16개의 하위주제로 도출되었다: (1) 중도중복장애학생 교육을 둘러싼교실 맥락과문제의식, (2) 중도중복장애학생의 학습 접근성을 확장하는 교수적 도구로서의 에듀테크, (3) ‘아무 에듀테크나’가 아닌, 학생 맞춤형 수업을 설계하려는 교사의 전문적 탐구, (4) 에듀테크 수업을 통해 드러난 학생의 변화와 교육적 가능성, (5) 교사 개인의 헌신에 의존한 에듀테크 수업의 한계와 구조적 지원 요구. 논의: 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 중도중복장애학생 교육에서 디지털에듀테크를효과적으로활용하는 지원방안에대한제언이논의되었다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine special education teachers’ experiences and perceptions regarding the use of digital educational technology in the education of students with severe and multiple disabilities and to propose effective strategies for utilizing digital educational technology. Method: Ten special education teachers with experience in applying digital educational technology to students with severe and multiple disabilities were selected as participants in this study. Results: The findings revealed five major themes and sixteen subthemes: (1) classroom contexts and problem awareness surrounding the education of students with severe and multiple disabilities; (2) educational technology as an instructional tool that expands students’ access to learning; (3) teachers’ professional inquiry into designing student-centered instruction rather than using “just any” educational technology; (4) changes in students and emerging educational possibilities observed through educational technology–based instruction; and (5) limitations of educational technology instruction that rely on individual teachers’ dedication and the need for structural and systemic support. Conclusion: Based on these findings, implications and recommendations for support strategies to promote the effective use of digital educational technology in the education of students with severe and multiple disabilities are discussed.
