This study examines the structure of user needs for ancillary facilities at integrated charging hubs, which combine fast charging with ancillary facilities, and analyzes how these needs differ between user groups. Perceived necessity of 16 ancillary facilities was surveyed on a 5-point scale among 101 users of the Gildong Chaeum hub in Seoul and 100 general EV users in the Seoul metropolitan area, then analyzed using exploratory factor analysis, MannWhitney U tests, and an ordered logit model. Factor analysis identified three latent dimensions of ancillary facility needs: ConvenienceConsumption, LeisureLifestyle, and StayWork. The Gildong Chaeum group rated –– ConvenienceConsumption facilities substantially higher than the general user group (r=0.61, p<0.001), whereas general users rated StayWork facilities higher (r=0.22, p=0.002), with no significant difference in LeisureLifestyle facilities. For the general user group, an ordered logit model identified preference for StayWork facilities as the variable most strongly associated with perceived necessity (odds ratio=4.71, p=0.003). These results suggest that StayWork facilities function as expectations attracting prospective users, whereas ancillary facility composition should prioritize the ConvenienceConsumption facilities rated highly by actual hub users, providing empirical evidence for the composition of integrated charging hubs as urban facilities.
