A Study on Family Life Cycle of Korean Family

The purpose or this study is to rind out the family life cycle or Korean family. For analysis of this study, the data from the 1975 Population and Housing Census is used. Major Findings are summarized as follows. The typical Korean woman in their late twenties spends the first twenty four years of her life growing up and getting ready to have children, and the next thirty to thirty four years bearing and rearing children, and the last four to seven years with her husband after their children have grown and gone. This data present that Korean woman spends mare time to bearing and rearing her children and has less time to live with her husband after their children have grown and gone than American woman.
