The purpose of the study is to analyze growth rate, blood cholesterol and ascorbic acid contents in various organs of albino rats in the caffeine, cholosterol, and garlic diet fed groups. The result obtained may be summarized as follows: 1) The final body weight of the B group(feeding of garlic supplemented with basal diet) increased more than that of other groups. 2) The liver weight of the E group (feeding of cholesterol supplemented with basal diet) increased mor than that of other groups. 3) The rate of food consumption of rats fed a 20% protein diet supplemented with garlic more increased than that of the control group receving 20% protein diet alone. 4) The cholesterol contents in the serum of the H group increased more than that of other groups. 5) The ascorbic acid content in various organs of rats fed the diet supplemented with garlic seems to be a little higher than that of the control group fed the proteindiet alone.
