The Effect of Dietary Protein, Caffeine Tranquilizer and Shaking Stress on the Rats

  • 2

The experiment was designed to investigate the effect of dietary protein, medifoxamine, caffeine on growth rate, glycogen content in liver and lipid metabolism in rats fed vibration. The result obtained in the study summarized as follow: 1. The final body weight of the L group (feeding of caffeine supplemented with vibration) was decreased than that of G group (30%Basal). 2. The food consumption of the H group was more decreased than that of the G group. 3. The cholesterol level in the serum of the K, L group(feeding of caffeine) increased more than that of the group. 4. The triglyceride contents in the serum of the experimental group increased more than that of A, G group. 5. There were no marked difference in blood hematocrit level between the experimental group and control group. 6. Total lipid levels in the liver of the F, L group decreased more than that of A,G group. 7. The liver weight of the H, J, L group (vibration group) tents to be decreased than that of the G group (non vibration). 8. Liver glycogen of rats fed the basal diet group (A,G) was less higher than that of other groups.
