부산·경남지역 여성학 강좌의 현황 및 과제

This study aims to share a critical mind about the actual conditions of lectures of Women's Studies in the Undergraduate Courses and grope for the solution. I investigated almost all of syllabi about lectures on Women's Studies in Pusan and Kyungnam area and interviewed lecturers of Women's Studies and chairpersons of Student's Association in University. After researching, I found some problems of lectures on Women's Studies and on the base of that situation, I would like to give some suggestions as follows. First of all, lecturers need to keep up consistent perspective of Feminism and should not to stop developing various methods and skills of teaching. Second, networking of lecturers of Women's Studies should be realized. It needs for developing good reference books on the lectures and acting collectively together when they face improper situations in and out academic areas. Also, it would be helpful for lecturers themselves to keeping on studying and researching because their networking will play an important role as a strong buttress for a group which has no social power. Finally, in the light of social system side, assistance of university policy is a necessary point for improving real conditions of lectures of Women's Studies. Establishing various chairs related with Women's Studies, supplying materials helping lectures, regulating the number of student in lectures, and raising wages of lecturers are prerequisite problems.
