WTO체제의 출범이 한국경제에 미치는 영향과 대책 - 특히 한국 농촌경제에 대한 파급영향과 그 대책을 중심으로 -

With the departure of WTO, The rural economy is faced the crisis in Korea. For the survival of boundless competition, the rural economy of Korea must be escaped from the petty agricultural structure and premodern production method. On the basis of this thought, this thesis analysed the UR Agricultural Negotiation the way how coping with the UR Agricultural Negotiation. Through the analysis of this process, we can conclude like these: (1) Because uncultivated farmland has gone on increasing in the situation of the rural population decreasing absolutely, the established Agricultural Land must be reformed by a large margin. Therefore, Getting out of「The Principle of Farmer's Land Ownership」, Agricultural land would be used not only agricultural production but also non-agricultural production. (2) The Upbringing of picked agricultural manpower is needed for the competition with foreign agricultural production. Since agricultural Up-to-date management and development of agricultural technology are the only way to rescue the Korea rural economy, government subsidy on this field must be expanded. (3) For the increase of the ratio of farmers' reception, agricultural flowing system is must be reformed. It is much easily performed by the organizing of producers and the intensifying of the agricultural cooperatives' economic activities. (4) On the other hand, the structural Problems of rural economy would not solved by only a increasing of agricultural productive capacity. Therefore it is necessary that betterment of rural life environment, rural social welfare system, various development of farmer's income source.
