In order to evaluated the automatic Loran C system in the fishing ground, it was observed with Loran C, 9970 chain and Radar at the same time on underway fishing vessel in the Southern YeJlow Sea and the Western South Sea. The error of Time Difference was mainly dominated by propagation path condition and the mean value of positional error between two positions by Loran C and Radar was about 0.24 miles. The directions of positional error vector were nearly same at each observed point m same sea area.
