선박용 고속 디젤 기관에 있어서 기관 회전수와 부하를 고정시키고 EGR율을 변화시켜 가몃 배기 배출물에 미치는 영향을 실험하였다. NOx는 EGR율의 증가에 따라 거의 직선적으로 크게 감소하는데, 동일 회전수에서는 부하가 클수록, 그리고 동일 부하에서는 기관 회전수가 높을수록 많이 생성된다. Soot는 저부하-저EGR율 영역에서는 적게 생성되지만, 고부하-고EGR율의 어느 한계점에서는 급격한 증가의 경향을 보인다. EGR율의 증가함에 EK라 NOx와 Soot 농도의 증가 및 감소현상은 서로 반대이다.
We have much interest in air pollution according to be raised the environmental protection issue in recent. Main factors of air pollution are harmful emissions from combustion engines and diesel engine is a desirable power generator because it has not only high efficiency, durability and reliability but also a little quantity of CO₂ emission. Also, it is important thing for the environmental protection to reduce the harmful emissions from diesel engine as much as possible. In this paper, NOx and soot concentrations of the exhaust emissons are measured and investigated with various EGR rate, load and RPM in a high-speed marine diesel engine for considering the effects of EGR. NOx concentratin is reduced almost linearly with great ratio according to increase of EGR rate. The larger load at the same RPM or the larger engine RPM at the same load, the higher NOx concentration. Soot concentration is low at the area of low load-low EGR rate, and tends to increase steeply on a boundary point of high load-high EGR ratio. Decrease and increase of NOx and soot emissions are varied reversely with increasing EGR ratio.
