Studies on the growth and species composition of fisheries resources in the coastal water off Cholla-puk Do were determined using the samples collected by small scale stow net from April, 1996 to August. Of the 63 species collected, common species through the sampling date were Enedrias fangi, Trachypenaeopsis curvirostris, Setipinna taty, Ammodytes personatus, Lophiomus setigerus, Harengula zunssi and Pampus argenteus. Enedrias fangi was predominated in number of individuals and weight except August, which comprised 80.89% in numbers and 67.58% in weight. Analysis if size composition of dominant species revealed that most fish collected were composed mainly of large individuals (<20cm) whose ages were younger than 1 years.
