5천톤급 여객선의 묘박설비의 안전성에 대한 고찰

A Study on the Safety of Anchoring Equipments for 5000tons Passenger Ship

When mooring a vessel at anchorage or wharf, we usually uses ship's mooring equipments which are calculated by Equipment Number formula. In this connection, this paper calculated the hull resistances were effected by actual external forces of the wind and current forces and also calculated the resistances of holding power of the anchor and anchor chain cables for the passenger vessel. Finally this study evaluated the possibility of mooring safety by comparing with the two calculated forces of above.
