아파트 실내정원의 겨울철 실내환경 조절효과 - Indoor Environmental Effects of Indoor Garden in Apartment House during Winter

The purpose of this study is to make clear the indoor environmental effects of indoor garden in apartment houses during winter season. The questionnaire survey for residents` subjective responses on indoor environment and satisfaction was carried out during the 10<SUP>th</SUP>～20<SUP>th</SUP> of February 2004. Respondents consisted of 215 residents living in a subject apartment complex. The field measurements of indoor thermal elements were made at A house having indoor garden and at B house not having indoor garden. The measurements in two-subject houses were taken simultaneously on the 11<SUP>th</SUP> of February. As results, the residents living in apartment having indoor garden show positive responses on air moisture, air freshness and satisfaction. The daily ranges of indoor temperature and globe temperature in the A house were narrower than the B house. The average relative humidity in the A house was higher(more comfortable) and more constant than the B house. Therefore, it seemed that indoor environment in the house having indoor garden was maintained more constant or comfortable during winter season than the house not having indoor garden by earning effect and humidity control effect of plants.
