Recently, many studies have been undergoing to manufacture the spherical lens. It is possible to manufacture the spherical lens which is presently being made in lens polishing machine. This study has been focused on the development of ultra-precision lens polishing machine. In order to provide the desired function, analysis is carried out by FEM simulation using CATLA software. The final results of analysis are applied to the design of ultra-precision lens polishing machine and the machine is successfully developed.
