There have been many changes in Korea`s college admission system and certain measures should be taken to deal with that. According to the change in 2008 college admission system (score of the national college entrance exam and high school records), various data and method are needed to grade students. In order to develop a student evaluation program that can do this job, we have analyzed the 2008 college admission system, other schools` evaluation procedure and also guidelines of the Ministry of Education. Based on this analysis, we considered three alternatives to set up our school`s evaluation process.<BR> During the review of the alternatives, we assessed school scores of those who took a qualification exam for high school graduation and high school records of those who graduated between 1998 and 2007 and before 1997. After this assessment, we made our choice and used it to simulate evaluation process of 2008 applicants` high school records and analysis of 2006 applicants` data. The simulation showed that our proposal was appropriate and no applicants received the same scores. Our research also suggested how to cope with students with the same scores and use the number of school attendance and students` voluntary public service. In addition, the research proposed other standards for selection from applicants and usage of these criteria.
