德富蘆花와 기독교 - 에르네스트 루낭의 『예수전』과의 관계

The purpose of this paper is to critically review Tokutomi Roka`s christian philosophy focusing on the time when he took a pilgrimage to the Holy Land in 1906. For the discussion`s sake, the researcher divided that period as the first and the second one. In short, little research has been done on the reasons as to why Tokutomi Roka changed his christian philosophy during his pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Therefore, there is an urgent need to conduct this study further. From this study, the researcher proposes that Roka`s reading from Ernest Henan`s (1823-1892) The biography c! Jesus Quist can be a dominating reason of his changing belief on christian philosophy. Therefore, this paper depicts how Ernest Henan`s The Biography of Jesus Christ changed Roka`s views on his christian philosophy and explores the relationships between Henan`s book and Roka`s belief.
