The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of exercise on changes of blood Leptin and body composition. The subjects of present study were 10 university students. All subjects participated in VO₂ max test to calculate their 80% VO₂ max workload. All exercise test were continued until subjects stopped because of fatigue.<BR> There were no big changes in the blood leptin during exercise, but a little bit decreases from baseline at 30 min after finishing exercise and 24 h Post. So, there were significant differences in the blood leptin concentration among time points of blood collections(p<.05).<BR> There were a little bit decreases in the % body fat from baseline at 30 min after finishing exercise and 24 h post. However, there were no significant differences in the % body fat among time points of measurements(p>.05).<BR> In this study, there was delayed effects of single bout exercise on blood leptin concentration and plasma leptin concentration were correlated with per cent body fat. Therefore, consequently, the leptin and body composition influence the operation of exercise in quite same metabolic way.
