Many of the traditional prophecies of Korea have reportedly been contained in the Gyeogamyurok. Gaengjeongyudo, however, seems to be the most important of all those influences on the Gyeogamyurok. The reason for Gaengjeongyudo`s influence to be seen therein may hopefully be found in the historical origin of the major `jeobon(底本)` of the Gyeogamyurok.<BR> As to when Gaengjeongyudo` influence has ever come to the text of the Gyeogamyurok, the present writer suggests three possibilities: thst is, ① on or before June 1, 1944 C.E.; ② before the beginning of the Korean War; and ③ in or after 1970 C.E.
