『周易淺見錄』과 陽村 權近의 도학적 易해석

陽村 權近(1352-1409)은 『주역천견록』을 저술하면서 송대 도학의 『주역』해석을 대표하는 程伊川의 의리적 해석과 주자의 상수적 해석을 종합하는 입장을 제시하였다. 그의 역학이 지닌 특징은 도학이념의 형이상학적 기반을 정립하기 위한 이론적 관심과 도학이념을 시대 현실에 적응시키는 논리를 제시하고자 하는 실천적 관심의 두가지 측면에서 확인할 수 있다.<BR> 따라서 그의 『주역』해석은 역의 卦와 交가 지닌 형상의 의미를 해명하고, 그 기반 위에서 天ㆍ人의 상응관계와 體ㆍ用의 결합구조를 해석하는데 도학적 이론 틀을 관철하였다. 또한 그의 ‘역’해석은 그 자신의 시대에서 현실적 문제와 연결시켜 해석하는데 세심한 관심을 보여준다. 따라서 그는 역경해석을 통해 이 시대 도학이념의 핵심과제인 유교의 정통의식을 확인하고 불교에 대한 이단비판의 논리를 제시하고 있으며, 이와 더불어 유교정치의 원리와 정치의 실무적 과제를 제시하는데 주의를 기울이고 있다.

Kwon-geun (陽村 權近, 1352-1409) wrote Jooyoekcheonngyeonrok (The Humble Opinions on I Ching, 『周易淺見錄』) and suggested the position synthesizing both the interpretation of Cheng Yichuan (程伊川) from the standpoint of the moral and rational principle (yi-li, 義理) and the interpretation of Zhu Xi (朱熹) from the standpoint of the image and number principle (xiangshu, 象數) which represent the Neo-Confucianist interpretation of I Ching in the Song dynasty. His study of I Ching is characterized by two aspects: the theoretical intention to establish the metaphysical foundation of Nee-Confucianist ideology and the practical intention for its application to the actual in his times.<BR> Thus his interpretation on I Ching clarified the meaning of the image in the hexagram (gua, 卦) and hexagram -lines (yao, 爻) and completed the neo-Confucianist frame of theory in interpreting correlation between heaven(Tian, 天) and human being (Ren, 人) and interrelation between substance (Ti, 體) and function (Yong, 用). His interpretation of `Yi` (易) also have deep interest in the interpretation connected with the actual problems in his days. In conelusion. he confirms belief in the orthodoxy of Confucianism as the chief problem of his days through the interpretation of Zhouyi(周易). which is followed by the criticism against heretical Buddhism. and pays attention to suggest the principle of Confucianist politics and the actual problems in politics.
