유교의 실천론적 체계 - ‘中庸ㆍ誠ㆍ均平’개념을 중심으로

In order to realize its ideology, Confucianism presents a variety of practical clauses and practical methods. The Mean, Sincerity and Equalizing are the practical principles to integrate such practical problems in Confucianism.<BR> `The Mean` is a fundamental principle to realize the Confucian value. Its function is to include all the varieties and to harmonize contrarily divided sides. `The Sincerity` means the truthfulness as an element of one`s personality. It is regarded as a principle to make one`s internal personality meet the transcendent essence of the heaven. `The Equalizing` is a concrete method to socially realize the principle of `the Mean`. It is the ideal social order for the people and a principle to overcome all the social conflicts and to realize the harmony and the stability.<BR> Therefore, these three practical principles are so closely related as to be compared to three points of a triangle, that is, the apex is the principle of `the Mean`, and two other points are the personal subjectivity of `the Sincerity` and the social order of `the Equalizing`. In such a close relationship as the triangular structure, the principles of `the Mean, Sincerity and Equalizing` constitute the Confucian practical system.
