The spirituality of holiness must be traced to Jesus` spirituality which is connected to the teaching of Jesus Christ. If the spirit of love and sacrifice increases into the missional contexts, it can overcome sins of the secular world in the mission fields.
In order to practice the spirituality of holiness, it is explained to deal with aspects of sin and holiness in terms of culture. `Sins` must be interpreted by the tool that is used in area of the cultural anthropology. Sins are relational and having a level in a secular culture and society. In the Bible, God is relational with human beings and having a level with people regarding His development of intimate relationships. If God`s people are away from His presence, it must be sinful. Far more being separated from God, more near to the secular sins. Like this, more being intimate to God, more having holiness into Him by the Holy Spirit.
The author has an emphasis on the role of the missional educator who has to be a mediator between Jesus` spirituality and missional contexts. Jesus` spirituality is highly idealized rather than the missional contexts. Therefore, the missional educator has not to enforce people to be holy with the criteria of the biblical spirituality. Rather than, he or she has to realize that the biblical ideals are different from the actual behaviors in the missional contexts. He or she should has a faith that the Holy Spirit can lead people into the higher stage of spirituality.
