루이스 칸의 박물관건축에 나타난 평면구성의 특성

This study focuses on the characteristics of planar composition of Louis Kahn`s Museums compared with the Paul P. Cret`s. The purpose of this study is to look into the Beaux-Arts tradition in Kahn`s form and plan in accordance with French classicism that has followed Beaux-Arts system as planar axis and design methodology. The result of this study as follows: 1) The order which is integrated of Louis Kahn`s architecture is coupled by individual`s creation idea and the construction order and is realized original nature of space that combine human`s consideration and emotion. 2) The Connection way of rooms by diagonal axis becomes extended open planning to outside in the planar composition of Louis Kahn`s architecture. 3) The planar composition of Louis Kahn`s architecture appears that central axis of Beaux-arts and characteristics distinguishes composition of hierarchical order from composition of non hierarchical order.
