주 5일 근무제와 여가 논의

This study was to interpret the relationship between weekly 5-day work system(the new word created in Korean society) and leisure issues in Korean society. The term called as weekly 5-day work system has been a discursive issue since Kim Dae Jung`s government suggested in Korean society. Related to the weekly 5-day work system, this study explained several leisure issues to understand how reducing work time interacts the trends of leisure participation. In order to explore this discussion, it is as follows;<BR> Firstly, in Korean society, the leisure participation is becoming an important value due to the increasing consumption and changing the perspective of labor. As the phenomenon of mass leisure, development of service industry, development of sport industry and computer industry related to leisure industry.<BR> Secondly, weekly 5-day work system may influence positively on Korean leisure cuture. In this respect, through that work system the formation of korean leisure culture, the development of korean leisure market in terms of both segmentation and activation, and accomplishment of family-oriented leisure participation.<BR> Lastly, this suggested that the effective use of weekly 5-day work system should make the social tools like the law of leisure welfare, changes of educational system for youth, and community environment relation leisure participation.
