This study was to explore the leisure participation patterns and leisure problems in the lives of urban workers since a five-day work week has involved. It was explained as follows. Firstly, Several leisure tendancies were manifested in Korean society. Money consumption in the leisure participation became more important in participation after five-day work week. Digital environment effect in the leisure participation is increasing more. Concept of leisure changed more actively, and tendency of leisure is appearing strongly private style called as `privatization`. Secondly, some problems have been appeared after the five-day work week. The estrangement by economic and age differences has deepened more. Skill absence of leisure participation makes it possible to suffer the syndrome that leisure induces urban workers sickness such as fear and discord in leisure involvement. Finally, public and personal preparations are needed to solve current problems. In this respect, for example, leisure support center as a provisional name should build up, and leisure education program will fulfil extensively. In an addition, the reform of consciousness of urban dweller must be changed.
