일대잡종 분화용 아시아틱나리 'Lovely LiASong' 육성

Breeding of Lilium Asiatic 'Lovely LiASong' as an F₁ Hybrid for Pot

우리나라에서 재배되고 있는 백합 구근의 대부분을 수입에 의존하고 있어 국내 품종을 개발하여 보급할 필요가 있다. 2001년부터 분화용 아시아틱나리 유전자원 'Crimson Pixie'과 'Tiny puppet'을 수집하여 2004년부터 2012년까지 자가수정을 실시하였다. 2012년에 자가수정 4세대 'L₂-12-1' 과 'L₂-35-4'계통을 교잡하여 분화용 1대잡종 아시아틱나리 'Lovely LiASong'를 개발하였다. 분화용 아시아틱나리 일대잡종 'Lovely LiASong'은 적색의 사발모양의 홑꽃으로 반점이 약간 있으며, 식물체 당 개화수가 4.9개로 많은 편이며, 꽃의 직경이 8.7cm로 중간 정도이고 꽃 차례 형태는 산형+총상꽃차례로 개화방향은 상향이다. 초장은 33.4cm이고, 잎의 수는 30.4개이고, 잎의 길이는 7.2cm이며, 잎의 폭은 1.3cm이다. 이와 같이 일대 잡종 'Lovely LiASong'은 대조품종인 'Tiny Ghost' 보다 화경이 크고 화수가 많아서 개화기간이 길며 초장이 짧아서 소비자 선호도가 높게 나타났다.

There is a need to breed and distribute domestic varieties for Lilium Asiatic hybrids because most of the lily bulbs cultivated in Korea imported from foreign country. The genetic resources of Lilium Asiatic hybrids, 'Buff Pixie', 'Orange Matrix' and 'Tiny Puppet', which were collected from 2001, had been self-pollinated from 2004 to 2012. In 2012, Lilium Asiatic 'Lovely LiASong' as an F₁ hybrid was bred through crossing 'L₂-12-1' and 'L₂-35-4' obtained by 4th self-fertilization. 'Lovely LiASong' had a bowl shaped single flower with a few spots and medium-sized flower, 8.7cm in flower diameter. The number of flowers per plant was 4.9, which was relatively more flowers than other cultivars. And the flower inflorescence had umbellate and racemose while the attitude of longitudinal axis was erect. The plant height was 33.4cm with 30.4 leaves per plant and 7.2cm in leaf length. The 'Lovely LiASong' showed a high consumer preference because it had a relatively longer flowering period, larger flower diameter and number of flowers than those of the control, 'Tiny Ghost'.
