기업 비즈니스 인텔리전스 시스템의 적극적 사용에 영향을 주는 요인에 관한 실증 연구

The Empirical Study on Factors Promoting Usage of Enterprise Business Intelligence Systems

비즈니스 인텔리전스 시스템의 도입 증가 추세에도 불구하고, 비즈니스 인텔리전스 성공/실패 요인에 대한연구는 있으나, 활용 효과에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 연구는 부족하며, 학술적으로 규명한 선행 연구는충분하지 않은 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 기업의 비즈니스 인텔리전스 시스템(Business Intelligence System)를사용하는 현업의 사용자들의 활용도를 높이는 요인을 UTAUT(Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology)모형을 통해 살펴보았다. 비즈니스 인텔리전스 시스템 구축, 운영을 담당하는 전문가 인터뷰 및실제 구축 된 시스템을 사용하고 있는 현업 사용자들의 인터뷰와 설문을 통해 비즈니스 인텔리전스 시스템활용도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 도출하였다. 연구 결과 성과기대, 노력기대, 촉진조건, 사회적 역량은 BIS 사용의도에 영향을 미쳤으며, 사용의도는 실제 사용에 유의하게 영향을 미쳤다. 하지만 BIS 정보 품질은BIS 사용의도에 영향을 미치지 못 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 비즈니스 인텔리전스 시스템을 도입 한 기업에는현업 담당자의 활용성을 높이는 방안을 제공하고, 추후 비즈니스 인텔리전스 시스템 도입을 원하는 기업에는구축, 운영, 현업에서 사용 시에 고려해야 하는 시사점을 제공한다.

There have been various studies on business intelligence system(BIS) ad option, which focus on success/failure factors of the BIS implementation. Ho wever, the factors for utilization of the BIS have not discussed enough yet. This study identified the factors to em plyees’ BIS use intention: performanc e expectation, effort expectation, BIS information quality, social influence. Consequently, the use intention was expected to impact on active BIS use. In addition, facilitating conditions also were set up to impact on the BIS use. The variables and the research model were set up based on interviews with BIS experts and UTAUT (Unified The ory of Acceptance and Use of Techn ology). Structural equation modeling was used for data analysis and hypot heses testing. As the results, all hypo theses were accepted except the rela tionship between BIS information qua lity and the use intention. Based on the research results the study provid es insights how to enhance business performance through business intelli gence systems.
