이 연구는 청소년 스포츠에서 선수들이 자각하는 자율성지지가 심리적 욕구와 어떤 인과관계가 있는지를 살펴보고, 이러한 심리적 욕구를 매개변수로 선수들의 운동행동과의 인과관계를 규명하는 것에 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기지역의 남자 고등학생 팀 스포츠선수를 편의표본추출법을 사용하여 412명의 선수를 추출하였다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 모형을 설정한 다음 구조방정식모형(SEM)을 통하여 변인간의 인과적 관계를 규명하였다. 이상과 같은 연구방법과 연구모형 검증을 기초로 하여 이 연구에서 도출된 결과는다음과 같다. 팀 스포츠 선수들이 지각한 자율성지지는 심리적 욕구에 직접적인 영향(직접효과=.77)을 미치며, 심리적 욕구는 운동행동에직접적인 영향(직접적 영향=.38)을 미치며, 자율성지지는 운동행동에 간접적인 영향(간접영향=.30)을 미치는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 결론적으로 청소년들이 지각하는 자율적 지지는 심리적 욕구를 예측하고, 심리적 욕구는 자율성지지의 매개를 통해서 뿐만 아니라 직접 운동행동에 영향을 미친다고 할 수 있다.
The main purpose of this study was to investigate the structural relationships among autonomy support, psychological needs, and movement behavior of high-school team sports players. In order to accomplish the purpose of this study, the high-school team players of Seoul/Gyeonggi province made the population and 412 of them were sampled through the convenience sampling. The instruments for data collection were Autonomy Support Questionnaire(Kim, 1997), Psychological Needs Scale(Kim et al., 2008), and Behavioral on Exercise Questionnaire-2(Chun, 2009). Collected data were put to exploratory factor analysis and correlation analysis,using the SPSSWin Ver. 17.0 program and to confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model(SEM), using the AMOS 7.0program. The findings suggest that autonomy support had significant influences on psychological needs, movement behavior,autonomy support had no significant influences team sports players" movement behavior, and psychological needs resulted in significant effect on movement behavior. That is, it was estimated that the direct effect of autonomy support on the psychological needs was revealed .77, the direct effect of psychological needs on movement behavior was revealed .38, and the indirect effect of autonomy support on movement behavior was revealed .30. Those structural relationships were confirmed by a structural equation modeling test.
